The making of dry plates helped to have a simple and lighter to use. Also, a dry plate for film with adjustable supporting roll holder.

George Eastman used material to invent his roll film for:

Dry plates: Also another name for gelatin process. Almost clear, and faded yellow without ordor and taste. It's related to boiling the water to create a substance that look like jelly. It's part of photographic plate.
Collodian: Yellowish material, and another name for wet plate.

If you want to know where I get ads from source, you can click links under the name of ads title.

And enjoy and take time to read my tasks.

Element Editing

Formula
Production and/or Interpretation

Oh look! The advertisement was brought to alive!

So, there was pretty major editing there. It had change to 3D advertisement. But of course, the real photograph been taken to cut a part off before special effect been added.

A guy ripped the paper so strongly like a dog, and can rip the sign apart.

Do I see any major editing here?

Yes. Hand and arm is edited to connect the man's opened mouth. This came from special effect. His hand punched a women's fearful face.

Verbal abuse is the same description as physical abuse. It's easy to describe abuse that are painful, heartbreaking feeling and mental health.

Element Narrative

Narrative

Kids Help Phone

The message has a meaning for bullying. This message is telling me that a student doesn't have enough strength and energy enough to go school daily. That student been bullying everyday and losing interests in educational.

Foster Care

This message has a meaning for a child to wait for loving home. The child is waiting for family that can love, play, walk, eat, talk or even read with him. Other children is waiting for foster care, and adoption to involve in new family to able to experience life.

Element Framing

WFF

Production and/or Interpretation

The family of penguins is closer left of framing. Another side of framing (right) is dry, and unstable home for the family. Little wood houses with flag on the top is left framing and neither short and far distance.

Behind the family is not a home they would want to live in. Where is the snow where they love to breathe cold air? Or maybe where is the ice they would love to swim under? That is not better home for them which lead to struggling humane life.

Post

Production and/or Interpretation

The setting of location is standing waiting for bus. Woman and man is left of framing. There are another way of framing is a woman mirrored to then frame of stamp.

I thought that woman was sending her motion face in the mail. It like her face is sending her message or a picture on stamp.

Element Performance

Performance

Onslaught

Production and/or Interpretation

The dove film "Onslaught" used raw footages, and commercials to put together. Raw footages and commercial include diet, weight, body image, make-up, plastic surgeries, and etc. There were really faster action to see all negative images on women in every second

There was a young girl who is innocently without stresses and pressures on high risk and negative images about girls and women. And next....she saw advertisements that would really pressure and stress on her. It made her think that she is not beautiful. She want to hide her true identity to become a new false beauty. She felt pressured by how women look like. She also want to kill her true identity to become whole new identity her family and friends may can't unlock a real person.

Element Point of View

WWF (all the same website address)

Production and/or Interpretation

Changing media from natural outdoor to recyclable media art advertisement. There have been added recycle items to the shape of deer. Underneath, there was full of mountain with recyclable.

Seeing a deer on the mountain full of recycle is a point of view. The deer would be able to see the distance from where he stand. He stand there, and stare in the distance. And turning his head from right to left to gazing for food to kill his hunger.

Deer's body possibly been ruined by a terrible environment.

Production and/or Interpretation

I can see a baby white polar who's walking slowly far from the Mother. A baby's point of view may be whining and crying from global warming and feeling so hungry. Mother could be heartbreaking but still have to find food  to survive.

Production and/or Interpretation

There was a giraffe full of coin so tall above the sky. Giraffe's point of view is considered to be struggle in his/her humane life. Their point of view was telling me that they need us give their support to find some good food for them.

The real photograph was taken and use special effect in photoshop. The campaign of WFF use photoshop to draw the body of giraffe out. And put coins inside the line that's been drawing to become look like that in advertisement.

Element Time

Truly, Madly, Deeply

Production

The official movie poster of "Truly,  Madly, Deeply is represented a long time ago in 1990s. The title and credit is represented older text form. The poster have a dark background that lead to a character who look like a ghost. The ghost of a character been edited from any form of media to change colour of blue.

Interpretation

Characters' actress and actor represented younger faces than today. The ghost of the character was back to lover from his past. The woman was missing him, and still holding on to their past. The woman refused to move forward on life aftermath of the dead of her lover. She was having time to letting her lover go heaven. She also couldn't go free without the ghost of the past.

Sound of Music

Production

This is created from 1965. I considered this true poster without any major media editing.  Outdoor background may have a little editing to become it little brighter. The title of movie added to a poster is represented a classic text.

Interpretation

The women in the poster seem really happy and have her own freedom. In her period of time, many women like her wore dresses daily. Women like the characters in the movie have their shorter hair after having long hair before 1965. Of course, she has passion for her music and love to sing since it related to the topic of movie poster.

Element Sound

Sound

Production

The old-fashioned cars been used for  advertisement from the junk yard. Photoshop edit cars' light to lit it up since it look more destroyed. The nature of tree on the car made from a team who involved in making process of advertisement.

Interpretation

When I see this advertisement, I imagined that old-fashioned car is brought back to life. I imagined hearing and feeling the car with key less. And still have life in machine that must have something magical to get that car started to run. The old-fashioned car must have a reason to run the machine from God's message, someone else's past history, or possible history of accidents. It's a sound of engine is back to life from begin dead for so far long and many buried years.

Stop Second Hand Smoking
Production

Photoshop replaced the boy's hand with woman's. It's also changed the advertisement to black and white from natural colour. Smoking in the grey air could be added from photoshop.

Interpretation

Seeing a boy is smoking with woman's hand. It's made me think smoking would affect women's lung in the  same way a boy would be caused by it. A boy could be coughing, choking, or crying from second hand smoking. His breathing could hurt his throat sound like he's losing his voice before trying to speak up to all people surround him. Trying to speak up how people's smoking habit made a boy to become a second hand smoker.

Production

The dog in advertisement is art that are different from photograph. Well....It is possible the real photograph may be taken too. Of course that photograph have changed to drawing,  or animation art from photoshop or other form of media. There have shadow on the ground facing the dog been added or edited.

Interpretation

The dog's been chined to the short plant of tree. The dog could be really barking loudly, and angrily. That dog's been treating really badly by his ungrateful owner who been physically abused him or teasing him. His owner have the ability to cause the dog's mental health to become poor and dangerous. There are other ways than barking is growing. His growing is represented the sound of angry, unhappy, and dangerous that  been created by his owner.

Element Light

Light

9/11 Memorial Reflect

Production

Professional Photographer's responsible for taking photograph. The advertisement have special effect from photoshop to edit brighter shades below towers and buildings. The text "Reflect" is also from photoshop editing. In the reflection, I noticed the two tall towers that been broke down by evil men in airplane.

Interpretation

The light is a lot brighter below the towers and buildings than shades of blue. The light support reflection to see buildings and towers in the lake.

Actual Security

Production

Photographer's ad may be taken at neither sunsetting and before night. It's also been editing from shadow to look like security bars

Inpreteration

Sunset support the shadow through the window on the bed to become security bars. I thought the window may have a little relfection in the left against square and something else I couldn't really tell. Seeing shadow of security bars on the window influence me consider it keep robbers, kidnappers, or planned murders out of house. It more safer to look that way.

Produation

The sun is edited to make more brighter light. The pile of recycled paper were put there from photograph. Behind the paper piles is edited to spread out the shadow.

Inpreteration

The sunset spread the nature out with shadow behind paper plies. It influence me consider that sunset or morning sun will melt paper piles down to change into trees.
